I see patients in my peaceful office at 107 Fayette Street, Manlius, NY 13104 and virtually throughout New York State. I am also a licensed telehealth provider in Florida, to serve those established patients of mine who are snowbirds.

Yes. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments so you can choose the format that best supports your care. Some patients prefer the experience of meeting face-to-face, while others appreciate the flexibility of virtual visits—and many choose a combination of both over time.
Whether in person or online, the structure, depth, and quality of care remain the same. My priority is creating a setting where you feel comfortable, fully attended to, and able to engage meaningfully in your treatment.

Online psychiatry provides the same level of care as in-person treatment, with added flexibility and convenience. Appointments take place through secure video visits and are conducted with the same structure, professionalism, and therapeutic depth as an in-office session. For the best experience, you’ll want a quiet, private space where you can give the session your full attention.
Confidentiality is a priority. Using a private room with the door closed, and headphones if needed, helps ensure your comfort and privacy during sessions. Many patients find that virtual care allows them to engage more consistently in treatment while fitting appointments into their daily lives. You are welcome to use both in-person and virtual treatment with me as it meets your needs.
My practice is fully paperless and designed to be easy to navigate. Scheduling, secure messaging, and forms are handled through a HIPAA-compliant online portal, and screen-sharing allows us to review information and resources together in real time. This approach supports continuity of care while keeping the focus where it belongs—on you.

In order to offer more personalized care, incorporate integrative treatments, and spend the time needed to do this work well, I have chosen to remain an out-of-network provider. I do not accept insurance or work directly with insurance companies, and payment is due at the time of your appointment.
I am happy to provide an itemized receipt or superbill for your visits, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if you have out-of-network mental health benefits. Reimbursement varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurer directly to understand your coverage.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance company include:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible I need to meet before reimbursement begins?
Are there any co-pays or coinsurance requirements?
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
What is the expected reimbursement for:
Initial psychiatric evaluation (CPT 90792)
Medication management follow-up (CPT 99214 + 90833)
Psychotherapy (CPT 99212 + 90836)
Important note for Medicare and Medicaid:
If you have Medicare: I am an opted-out Medicare provider. This means I can offer care to Medicare beneficiaries as long as you agree not to seek reimbursement from Medicare. A separate Medicare opt-out consent is required and will be provided for you to review and sign prior to treatment.
If you have New York State Medicaid: I am not a participating provider. As a result, my services are unlikely to be covered under out-of-network benefits. In addition, prescriptions cannot be filled using your Medicaid pharmacy benefit and would need to be paid for at the cash price. If you are covered by Medicaid and wish to work together, I am willing to collaborate with another physician on your care team to help address these limitations, provided they are willing to participate.

Initial Psychiatric Assessment | 75 minutes – $625
This full diagnostic evaluation reviews your complete medical and psychiatric history, including all current medications, and explores the symptoms that trouble you most. Together, we work to clarify a diagnosis and understand what’s contributing to your difficulties. We then take stock of your personal priorities and weigh the risks and benefits of potential treatments—whether medications, integrative strategies, psychotherapy, or lifestyle modifications—to build a personalized plan that lays the foundation for meaningful, lasting improvement.Extended Follow-Up Appointment | 50 minutes – $415
If we decide to work together, these follow-up visits become the heart of your care. During these appointments, we refine your treatment plan, address symptoms, manage side effects or recent medication changes, and continue the therapeutic work we began in your initial evaluation. They are ideal for patients just starting treatment, actively experiencing symptoms, committed to regular psychotherapy, or simply seeking more attentive, personalized support.Brief Psychiatric Follow-Up | 25 minutes – $275
Brief follow-up visits are ideal for patients who have achieved stability and need a focused check-in for safe, ongoing medication management. These short appointments allow for regular support, medication adjustments, and monitoring without a longer session, helping you maintain mental health and consistency in care.One-Time Psychiatric Consultations & Second Opinions | 90 minutes – $950
If you are seeking clarity, direction, or a fresh perspective on your mental health care, this consultation is designed to provide exactly that. During this 90-minute session, we take a deep dive into your full medical and psychiatric history, review your current medications and treatments, and explore your symptoms and goals in detail to provide a comprehensive, personalized assessment aimed at helping you make confident, informed decisions about your care. You will receive thoughtful recommendations that consider both traditional and integrative approaches, including medication strategies, psychotherapy, lifestyle adjustments, and other therapeutic interventions.
A detailed consultation report is provided, which can be shared with your current care team, ensuring continuity of care and helping coordinate next steps. Whether you decide to continue working with me, return to your current provider, or explore other options, this session gives you clarity, actionable guidance, and renewed confidence in your treatment plan.
Optional Follow-Up: If additional time is needed to clarify recommendations or explore complex questions, 60-minute follow-up sessions are available at $600/hour.

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a written cost estimate of the services you can expect during your care, including initial evaluations, follow-up appointments, psychotherapy sessions, medication management, and consultations. It must be provided at least one business day before you receive care, so will be included in your intake paperwork.
Providing a GFE is required for patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance, and it is also part of my commitment to transparent, patient-centered care. It helps you understand the expected costs before your first appointment and plan for your mental health treatment.

Our first appointment is focused on getting to know you and understanding your concerns in depth. Prior to the visit, you will complete a comprehensive intake form, which I review carefully before we meet. This includes your mental health history, current symptoms, strengths, goals for treatment, and questions about sleep, nutrition, exercise, and overall health—allowing us to begin care with a whole-body perspective.
During the session, you’ll have time to ask questions about my practice, policies, and approach so we can be aligned from the start. We will explore what’s been troubling you, what feels most urgent, and what you hope to change. This is a collaborative conversation, not a rushed checklist.
As an integrative psychiatrist, I then conduct a thorough mental health assessment that considers both psychological and biological factors influencing how you feel. By the end of the appointment, you can expect greater clarity about what may be contributing to your symptoms and a thoughtful outline of possible next steps, which we continue to refine together over time.

Care is individualized and flexible. Some patients benefit from weekly or more frequent visits during periods of transition, medication changes, or active psychotherapy, while others do well with less frequent follow-ups once things feel stable.
I maintain a small caseload so I can offer the level of access, continuity, and responsiveness that thoughtful care requires—including availability within a few days when concerns arise. If you find that you can comfortably go three months without needing a visit, it may be a sign that you no longer need expert-level care. At that point, we can talk together about your preferences and whether it makes sense to plan for maintenance care or a thoughtful graduation.
-
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. I never double-book appointments, so that I can offer my full attention and prepare thoughtfully for each session.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged the full appointment fee. This policy helps protect the time and care that go into each appointment and ensures continuity for all patients.
